‘Wait for the Lord’ is the theme of The Diocesan Advent Service which will take place in the Pro-Cathedral in Dublin tomorrow, Saturday 1 December at 4.00 p.m.
The service of music and reflection will focus on the idea of Advent as a time of preparation for the celebration of the Birth of Jesus.
The theme will also reflect World Aids Day which takes place tomorrow Saturday, and the campaign to prevent AIDS developing in unborn children as promoted by the Rose Project.
The service will also draw attention to the Trócaire Christmas gifts campaign especially the Mother and Baby care global gift. There will be musical contributions from a Slovenian Choir STINGLC, members of the Indian Community in addition to the Dublin Lourdes Choir and the Dublin Diocesan Music Group.
