The Office for Evangelisation and Ecumenism, the Diocesan Liturgical Resource Centre and Parish Pastoral Workers have compiled a number of resources to help us celebrate Holy week and Easter in a meaningful way. Ideal for ‘online’ parish groups, home church, individuals.

Ecumenical Way of the Cross on zoom

For the last 8 years the four congregations in the Rathmines/Greater Leeson Street Area, Holy Trinity Church of Ireland, Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners Roman Catholic Church, Methodist Centenary Church, Leeson Park and St. Finian’s Lutheran Church have been walking the streets of South Dublin following the Cross, listening to the Passion readings, reflecting, praying together. Last year in the early days of the lockdown we created a YouTube service. This year, as we are still in lockdown, we are moving to zoom.

All are most warmly invited and welcome, this Friday, Good Friday, 2nd April, 1-1.45pm

Please send your request to participate to dublincouncilofchurches@gmail.com
You will then receive a link to the zoom prayer meeting on Thursday afternoon, 1 April.
We will open the zoom waiting room on Good Friday 2nd April at approx. 12.50pm.
