The Palestrina Choir from St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Dublin, at the invitation of the Irish Ambassadors to Estonia and Finland, travel to Tallinn and Helsinki this week.

It is a great honour for the choir to once again to represent the Archdiocese of Dublin and Irish culture on an international platform.

The choir partnered with St Michael’s Boys’ Choir in a concert hosted by the Irish Ambassador to Estonia, Ms Frances Kiernan, in St John’s Church, Freedom Square, Tallinn, Estonia, yesterday evening, Thursday, May 12, at 6pm.

Contributing to the celebrations marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between Ireland and Finland, the Palestrina Choir will partner with Cantores Minores giving a joint concert hosted by the Irish Ambassador to Finland, Ms Ruth Parkin, in Helsinki Cathedral at 7pm tonight, Friday, May 13.

This Sunday, May 15, they will sing at the English Mass in St Henry’s Catholic Cathedral.

Information on the trip and photo updates will become available at
