Giant cardboard house to go up in Dublin car park
Young people from the parish of Foxrock in Dublin will work through the night this weekend
to build a giant cardboard house in their church car park.
10,000 boxes have been gathered for the country’s first ever Boscathon, raising funds for Ireland’s first Children’s Hospice,
LauraLynn House being built at the Children’s Sunshine Home,
Leopardstown Road.
The “house” when complete will take up 70 car park spaces measuring 20m by 20m! RTE’s Miriam O Callaghan,
patron of the Children’s Sunshine Home will be helping us to celebrate the house warming at 1.30pm
The event is being organised by the parish youth club and they are inviting as many people as possible to come along to help build and decorate the house over 24 hours. The young parishioners plan to work through the night to get the house built in time for Sunday afternoon’s grand opening.
